Happy New Year, hummingbirds!
This may feel a bit like an Oscars acceptance speech, but please bear with us. We are so very grateful for what you all brought into our lives in 2024 that we wanted to take a moment and express our gratitude properly.
Our first holiday market season was so much more than we ever could have imagined - more time and effort, more travel and, without a doubt, more FUN! We met so many incredible vendors and makers, event organizers and some of the best customers we could ever ask for.
It was a mad dash from event to event starting with the LC Petrolia Optimists market and ending on New Year’s Eve with the Festival of Cultures, but we are so thankful for the folks along the way that made time to talk with us and let us share our passion for what we do. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, we appreciated every minute.
In our first market season we were very lucky to work with the experienced team of volunteers at the Big Brothers Sisters Show & Sale and they set the tone for a season of amazing organizers and volunteers at DeGroot’s Nurseries, Sarnia Riding Club and the Sarnia Christmas Market. We even took our products back to Grand Bend and the beautiful Oakwood Resort for their holiday market on a gorgeous snowy day.
At each and every one of these events we were reminded of the wonderful makers and vendors we work next to and were humbled by their kindness and support. We appreciated the market recommendations, help moving boxes and tables and Scott would personally like to thank all the very talented earring makers he met this season; thanks to you every show felt a little bit like Christmas morning.
We want to wish all of you the very best to begin the new year, together we can fill 2025 with kindness and empathy.
